Understanding the roster
What this dragon list contains
Twelve dated player reports
The dragonkind dragons list currently contains twelve submissions recorded from a public player wall on October 5, 2026. Names preserve the spelling and capitalization displayed at that time, including CUATAEN. Each card shows its reported color and tail, alongside the submitting rider’s wing when one was supplied. The live wall rotates as new reports arrive, so an older entry may no longer appear among its latest bonds. These records document what users submitted; they do not authenticate the corresponding game result cards.
A snapshot is not the entire game
The heading describes the subject of the reference, not a claim that the game has only twelve dragons. This collection will grow when additional sourced entries can be documented. A name missing from this selection does not make your own bond invalid, exceptionally rare or unofficial. Likewise, the absence of orange from this particular snapshot does not mean orange dragons are unavailable. The author’s FAQ explicitly allows all colors and tails. We do not fabricate entries to balance the display.
Compare the six-color guide →Rider wings need their own context
A wing shown on these cards belongs to the reporting rider’s assignment. It is not established as a fixed affiliation of the named dragon. Two players might describe different placements alongside similar companions, and this dragonkind dragons list should not imply a contradiction before the relevant screens are checked. The wing filter is a convenient way to examine submitted assignments. It cannot predict where a new account will be placed or identify a guaranteed path to a particular squad.

How to search and filter the dragons
Start with the name you received
Enter part of the dragon’s name to narrow the cards. Search ignores capitalization, while the displayed name retains the original submitted form. The dragonkind dragons list also supports filtering by color, tail and rider wing. Filters work together, so a narrow combination can produce no results even when that color appears elsewhere in the sample. Use Reset filters to restore every card. The result count tells you what is visible, and a clear empty-state message prevents an empty grid from looking broken.
Compare tail descriptions carefully
The sample uses Swordtail, Daggertail, Clubtail, Scorpiontail and Morningstartail as reported categories. This list does not infer a tail from an illustration, invent new categories from decorative symbols, or translate a book nickname into a game field. If your result uses different wording, retain that wording in your own note before comparing it. A symbol on a card is a decorative reference motif from our site design, not a anatomical diagram or official depiction of that named dragon.
Use sorting without implying rarity
Choose alphabetical name order or color order to reorganize the sample. There is no rarity sort because we do not have a representative dataset of official attempts. Voluntary submissions cannot support a meaningful odds ranking: unusual results may be posted more often, missing results leave no trace, and one person can make a mistaken submission. The list keeps all twelve dated cards together so you can compare the available names without mistaking their order for popularity, rarity or official ranking.

What is known about the names
Do not invent Gaelic translations
Fourth Wing readers often ask whether a dragon’s name has a Scottish Gaelic meaning. The game’s generated names should not automatically be treated as dictionary words. Our dragonkind dragons list keeps every meaning unknown unless the exact spelling has a credible linguistic explanation. Similarity to a color word is not sufficient evidence, and an attractive translation repeated by another fan site may still be speculation. We currently publish no etymology for these twelve reports rather than filling that field with guesses.
Keep book dragons and fan dragons separate
Familiar novel names and the original companions in our homepage mini adventure belong to different reference contexts. Mosswatch, Stormglass and the other fan-game outcomes are our fictional creations; they are not part of this dragonkind dragons list. Book lore can be discussed on its own terms without presenting a character as a verified game entry. Signets also require separate evidence, since a dragon’s name or color does not tell this guide what magical ability an official account will receive.
Read the signet context and spoiler notes →Read the checked date
The checked date identifies when this dragonkind dragons list snapshot was recorded. The external wall may display newer names when you open it because users continue adding submissions. That change does not make the archived rows current live results. Keep the date with any comparison so updates can be understood without implying that this page monitors official accounts in real time.
Reader questions
Common questions
Is this the complete official dragon roster?
No. The dragonkind dragons list is a twelve-report sample, with provenance and uncertainty stated on each card. We have not obtained an official complete roster. The cards are useful for comparing names already reported, not for establishing every possible bond.
Why does a card show an unknown rider wing?
The original submission did not include a wing. Unknown is a missing field, not a fifth wing or a hidden game category. Keeping it visible is more accurate than assigning a wing based on another player’s color or tail.
Are these dragon names verified by the author?
No. They were submitted publicly by users on an independent wall, and have not been authenticated against official result cards. The status is UNOFFICIAL – player-reported, not confirmed. The source documents the report’s existence, not the truth of every submitted detail.
